The Art of Injection

This application offers a detailed overview aimed at enhancing proficiency in injection therapy. Cortisone injections are widely recognized as a highly effective treatment for localized inflammatory pain, often providing a cost-effective alternative with fewer adverse effects compared to NSAIDs.

While a solid understanding of anatomy, physiology, and proper technique is essential, the actual execution of injections involves a certain finesse, which justifies the app’s focus on the artistry involved—hence the name "Artofinjection."

The app features 18 different injection techniques, thoroughly illustrated through both three-dimensional images and video demonstrations. All procedures depicted are performed on real patients in my clinical practice. For each technique, specific recommendations are provided regarding syringe selection, needle type, and mixture composition. The educational content emphasizes core principles on how to develop greater skill as a clinician, ultimately delivering patients safe, well-documented, and effective cortisone treatments.
